Joomla 1.7 versions?

Will you be releasing joomla 1.7 compatiable versions of the template and extensions?

Hi,
yes we will. Our Slideshow already works with J1.7.
All other extensions requires virtuemart 1.1.x which do not work with joomla 1.7
As soons as virtuemart 2 is stable we will convert all our extensions to virtuemart 2.
All future templates will be able to J1.7
Sounds great! Is it free to update after we have bought it, suppose for J1.5 and VM1.1.x?

What is the status on making 1.7 update? Are setting up a new site and don't want to install 1.5 and upgrade Joomla soon. Seems to be complicated.

me too - I have a couple clients who are very eager to upgrade, but want to have the same look the now have
I migrated my shop to the new server, J1.7 and VM 2.0 fully supported from now.
Please, let me know when could I to use my D&D's VirtueMart Demo Bundle with the J1.7 and VM 2.0 releases?

which where telling me that the new vm2 template would be released latest 13th jan. 2012 but still not out :(
hope it get out soon so I can put it on my shop.
I was promised 30th Jan. Where is it? We can't just wait especially as dates have been promised.

Everything is ready - we just need to add the demo content but this is just for imagination how it could look.
This is a whole joomla template version and not a theme solution which you can use with other templates.
If you want we can make send you an offer for this solution OR your order number for upgrade.

I bought the 1.0 template from ur web. Do I need to pay again to get the VM2.0 TEM? How do I get it?
No, we just check and modified your order. You will get a new download link within 5 minutes.
My customer just now purchased the template ( mistakingly ) under the impression this was / will be available for VM2 also as suggested here before.
We have a joomla template we want to use.
How and when will this be adressed? The total template solution ( joomla + vm ) is no solution for us at least.
Can the temlplate functionality be "separated" from the availble installer

Firstly, one has to commend your efforts on the VM templates and extensions they are pretty impressive. Secondly, could I just ask to confirm....if one purchased the VM BUNDLE does it actually install similar to the old VirtualMart eCommerce Bundle package? That is where everything inclusive of the positions and images etc is pre-setup (in this case the end result shall be like the Official Demo page you have on display)? Thirdly, if so may I ask what actual version of "Joomla/Virtualmart" would that pre-packed Bundle be running on?

we do not have a bundle package for virtuemart 2 yet. We just released a joomla template which have styling improvements for virtuemart. It looks a bit different than the one for vm1. You can find it here:

Currently its running joomla 1.7 because vm2.0.0 do not work with j2.5 yet.

Thanks Eugen, it looks nice! once the stand alone version for 1.7/VM2.0 (which I assume is the same as the eCommerce bundle) is released I hope we will be able to purchase it via the website or atleast be notified of it's release and how to purchase it.

@jason: done - you should get a mail within 5 minutes with your download links - take a look at the following file "mowebso_ecommerce-3.2.15-bundle.zip"
Just install it through the install manager and enable the template.

The slideshow and product presenter will be available by next week. A quickstart and bundle package will also be introduced next week.
So yes - we will update all our products to joomla 2.5 and virtuemart 2. I agree with you that we are a bit slow but its a one men company - working very long hours daily.

We are happy to tell that our virtuemart theme is 99% ready - WE NEED SOME VOLUNTARY TESTER.
We see it as a beta version but don`t worry about the beta status - you can start using it on a production site. We will just give us self a week to fix some reported bugs (if there are some) before we call it final release ;-)
All tester can keep the version as well as the final one for free. Need about 7-10 tester ;-)

thanks Eugen - 1 question - the documentation is in a file called 'documentation_en.pages' - what program do I use to open it? (notepad doesn `t work)
oops - sorry - send you the pdf version in a private ticket.
.pages is file type on the mac, the same as .doc on windows.

we made a few changes to our theme and you find the latest version attached. (in your private ticket)
What did we changed:
- Added a zoom / lens effect to the product image on the product details view.
- Added Availability Images to the package.
- fixed an error which mades product listing extremely long)
- fixed some class names to avoid conflicts with the virtuemart css
- product navigation and icons are much nicer now.
- some other small fixes and code cleaning.
What we will do next:
- add „add to cart“ button to the category view.
